A woman in northern India has given birth to a girl with two heads and one set of vital organs.
Dr. Ashish Sehgal told the New York Daily News that the mother of the conjoined twins, Urmila Sharma, had no idea she was expecting the twins because she could not afford an ultrasound.
Sehgal asserted that the twins are alive and healthy, but for how long cannot be determined.
He added that the girls, who have two necks and two spines, can be operated upon only after they get stable.
