India-United States Strategic and Commercial Dialogue (S&CD) to discuss areas of mutual interest and identify possible areas for collaboration will begin in Washington from tomorrow.
The Indian delegation comprising of Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Commerce & Industry Nirmala Sitharaman and Power Minister Piyush Goyal will be led by External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj.
United States Vice-President Joe Biden and Secretary of State John Kerry will also attend the meeting among others.
Several high-level officials and delegates from various ministries and departments are also expected to attend the meeting.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive in New York on Wednesday for his second trip to the US after assuming office.
