Injured England limited-overs captain Stuart Broad has said that he is 'confident' of playing a 'full part' in the World Twenty20 tournament in Bangladesh and is looking forward for the team's upcoming practice session against India.

The skipper said that had it been a Test match tour it would have been more 'concerning' but with only 'four overs a game', he is confident that he will be able to play a 'full part' in the T20 World Cup.

Broad, who is suffering from a patellar tendonitis in his right knee, missed the last two games during West Indies tour and will also miss England's warm-up match in the tournament against the same opponents in Fatullah, Sport24 reports.

However, the fast bowler said he will 'definitely' be fit for the warm-up match against India in Mirpur, adding that he had an injection in his knee last week.

Broad however, said that he is not certain of playing the warm-up match against West Indies as he has not 'actually run' on his knee since he got the injection yet, but would 'definitely play against India in the upcoming warm-up match.
