Australian captain Michael Clarke has said that he is unlikely to play the remaining Test matches against India after being limped off Adelaide Oval with an injured right hamstring on the fifth day of the first Test.
Clarke said that he had a scan and results were not fantastic, adding that he was disappointed as he would struggle to take any more part in the series. He further said that he would be supporting his team from the sidelines for the rest of the series.
The skipper was seen clutching his right hamstring in the 44th over as he was accompanied by the team physio Alex Kountouris off the field and later went to hospital for scans.
Earlier, the skipper suffered a back injury during his first innings score of 128.
Australia leads the four match Test series 1-0.
