Pakistan middle-order batsman Sohaib Maqsood was ruled out of the forthcoming ODI series against Bangladesh on Tuesday due to a fracture in his left arm.
All-rounder Saad Nasim, who has played three T20s for Pakistan, has been named as Maqsood's replacement.
According to the Dawn, Maqsood underwent a medical examination after complaining of acute pain during the first day of Pakistan cricket team's training session at the Gadaffi Stadium, and the test subsequently determined recurrence of the fracture.
Nasim has already been selected as a part of Pakistan's T20 squad for the upcoming series which starts on April 17.
