World number two Maria Sharapova has pulled out of the upcoming Rogers Cup citing leg injury.
Confirming the news, tournament organizers said that the 28-year-old Russian withdrew due to a right leg strain, the Dawn reported.
The 28-year-old tennis player has not played any match since her Wimbledon semi-final defeat against world number one Serena Williams last month.
The Rogers Cup is scheduled to begin from August 10 in Toronto.
