Two Surrey players have been taken to hospital after colliding with each other during a T20 Blast game against Sussex on Sunday. The match was subsequently called-off.
Australia's Moises Henriques and Englishman Rory Burns were injured while going for a catch in the 19th over of Sussex's innings.
Three ambulances were immediately rushed to the spot after the collision.
An announcement was made at the stadium saying both players were conscious and sitting up on their way to hospital, the BBC reported.
Kevin Pietersen was making his final appearance for Surrey before venturing into the Caribbean Premier League.
