Congress leader Shobha Ojha on Monday alleged that an 'insensitive' Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is giving shameful statements on the Vyapam scam, and said that it exposes the guilt of the Shivraj Singh Chouhan-led Madhya Pradesh Government.
"The BJP is so insensitive that they are giving shameful statement that Vyapam does not matter to them at all. This clearly shows how closely knit the BJP leaders and the RSS leaders are with the Vyapam scam and how the Madhya Pradesh Government was trying to save the culprits, putting innocent people behind the bars and how the mysterious death were being covered by the Madhya Pradesh Government," Ojha told ANI.
"This clearly exposes the guilt of the Madhya Pradesh Government as far as Vyapam scam is concerned," she added while reacting to the comments made by Madhya Pradesh BJP chief Nand Kumar Chauhan that there are no regrets over the Vyapam scam.
A Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) team is scheduled to reach Bhopal today to begin investigation into the Vyapam scam.
The investigating agency has constituted a special team of 40 officers, headed by a Joint Director level officer, to probe the scam.
The Supreme Court had last week transferred all cases relating to the Vyapam scam to the CBI.
