Insulin pumps more affective than multiple shots in type 2 diabetes

A new study has revealed that insulin pumps are significantly more effective at controlling blood glucose (sugar) in people with type 2 diabetes.

According to the study, this treatment is affective for people who have failed to respond to the usual standard of care, multiple daily insulin injections.

The researchers found that people who used the pumps achieved a significantly greater reduction in average blood sugar levels than those who used multiple daily injections at 6 months.
