Janata Dal (United) leader K C Tyagi on Thursday said that people of Bihar have been insulted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's DNA jibe and confirmed that the first batch of DNA samples in the form of hair and nails will be sent to 7RCR tomorrow.
"We have collected DNA samples of people of Bihar in the form of hair and nails. The first batch of that will be given at Prime Minister's residence. Prime Minister had said in his rally in Muzaffarpur and Arra that there is something wrong with Nitish Kumar's DNA, people of Bihar felt insulted because of such comment," Tyagi told ANI.
"A common Bihari feels insulted because of Prime Minister's remark," he added.
Janata Dal (United) workers would be sending around one lakh DNA samples to Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his 7RCR residence tomorrow to fulfill the promise made by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar at the Swabhimaan Rally.
Earlier, in a befitting reply to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's DNA jibe, Nitish Kumar had earlier said that the people of his state will be sending samples of their hair and nails to the Prime Minister's Office for a DNA analysis.
Addressing a massive Swabhimaan Rally in Patna's Gandhi Maidan, Kumar said, "He (Narendra Modi) said my DNA is bad. Who am I? I am one of you. Today, people of Bihar are collecting samples of their hair and nails and from tomorrow they will be sending it to the Prime Minister's Office for their DNA analysis. My DNA represents a Bihari.
