Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu on Tuesday alleged that the Congress, which is the most intolerant party, has become desperate as they have lost the trust of the nation.

Naidu, who was reacting to the Congress' march to the Rashtrapati Bhawan against 'growing intolerance' in the nation, alleged that the Congress is making desperate attempts to stay relevant.

"They are intolerant towards the mandate of the people. We have a commitment to development and they want to derail that by diverting the attention from the main issue. What is it that has happened suddenly which was not happening earlier? India is a huge country with 120 crore population, there were incidents during the Congress regime. Now also, unfortunately in the Congress ruled states and its friendly ruled states some heinous crimes have taken place be it Dadri, Kulburgi's murder or Dabholkar's murder or other related issues," Naidu told ANI here.

"The Congress Party has gone to a wrong address to the Rashtrapati Bhawan; they should have gone to Raj Bhawan because these incidents against whom they are protesting have happened in the states," he added.
