Delhi Daredevils beat Mumbai Indians by six wickets with seven balls to spare in their IPL clash at the Sharjah Cricket Association Stadium here on Sunday evening.

The Mumbai Indians batted poorly to score just 125 for six in their allotted 20 overs. Left-arm seamer Jaydev Unadkat was the pick of the Delhi Daredevils bowlers with figures of two for 18. For the Mumbai Indian's, only West Indian all-rounder Kieron Pollard scored an unbeaten 33 from 30 balls, reports Sport24.

Delhi Daredevils opener Murali Vijay then led the charge, scoring a 34-ball 40. There was a bit of a hiccup in the 16th over when Sri Lankan sling shot bowler Lasith Malinga struck twice, but skipper Kevin Pietersen ensured a win for the Daredevils with an 26.

A second win of the campaign sees the Daredevils move up to sixth in the standings, while the winless Mumbai Indians remain rooted to the bottom and in desperate need of some improvement in the batting department.
