The Justice Mudgal Committee report has given a clean chit to Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president N. Srinivasan, although Chennai Super Kings team principal Gurunath Meiyappan was found involved in illegal betting.
Rajasthan Royals co-owner Raj Kundra was also found to be in touch with the bookies and was placing bets on matches, the panel reportedly told the Supreme Court.
Reports also indicated that Srinivasan's son-in-law Gurunath Meiyappan was involved in illegal betting, although he had no links with match fixing.
The Supreme Court had earlier on Friday disclosed the names of a few personalities, who were probed by the Justice Mudgal Committee for alleged links to the Indian Premier League (IPL) spot-fixing scam.
The names disclosed by the apex court included that of Srinivasan, Kundra, Meiyappan and BCCI chief operating officer Sunder Raman.
The court had directed the findings of the Mudgal report on non-cricketers to be disclosed.
