Iran tested a new suicide drone in a military drill near the strategic Strait of Hormuz at the entrance to the Persian Gulf on Saturday.
According to News 24, General Ahmad Reza Pourdastan, the army's chief commander of ground forces, described the unmanned aircraft as a "mobile bomb".
Meanwhile, the state media reportedly said the drone was designed to strike air, ground and naval targets.
The drone, named Yasir, is capable of flying up to 10 hours straight and can carry out 360 degree imaging.
