Ireland's cricket coach John Bracewell on Friday said that New Zealand will give 'a tough fight' to the 'struggling' England cricket team when they face them in the two-match test series.

Bracewell said that New Zealand is one of the better teams in the world in all forms of the game, and they would give England a tough time, Stuff.co.nz reported.

New Zealand will be playing two practice matches before taking on England in the first Test at Lord's on May 21.

Bracewell believed that the two practice games would help New Zealand in adjusting with the English conditions.

He added that England coach Peter Moores would be under tremendous pressure on the back of the World Cup disaster and the test series in West Indies that ended on an embarrassing note.

Bracewell suggested that England was going through a difficult transition phase but Moores needed to confront that.
