This Friday saw Rajinikanth's 'Kabali' get a phenomenal opening at the cinemas, but unfortunately, its Hindi dubbed version could not not do that well.

According to a DNA report, a source, while discussing the reason behind the poor performance, said, "The reason Rajini's Tamil films don't do well when dubbed in Hindi is because they are very culture-specific. Kabali is set in the Tamil community in Malaysia. The flavour, culture and dialogues are all particular to the Tamil community."

It has also been reported earlier that Bollywood's Shehenshah Amitabh Bachchan will do a full-fledged Hindi remake of 'Kabali.'

Now, this brings up the question - whether or not the poor performance of the Hindi dubbed version is the reason behind this move.

Speaking about Rajnikanth, the 73-year-old actor said, "Rajini is phenomenal. The largest, the best and truly the boss. Outside of Tamil Nadu, people have no idea what he is all about. The adulation, the following is incomparable. We are friends and colleagues. I abhor epithets, but for him I will make exceptions, for he is truly exceptional."

Earlier, many of Big-B's films, like 'Deewaar,' 'Don,' 'Namak Halal,' have been remade into Tamil with Rajni Sir in the leads.

So, if the Hindi remake of 'Kabali' happens, then the things will be other way round for the first time.
