A source told the Sun that Wood deeply regretted hurting Coleen Mary Rooney and wanted a chance to show that she was not that person any more.
Former prostitute Wood had a threesome with footballer Rooney when his wife Coleen was five months pregnant with their eldest son Kai.
Wood now wants to clear her name.
