India on Friday bagged two medals, one silver, and one bronze, in the Women's 10m Air Rifle Junior event at the ongoing International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF) World Championship.
Elavenil Valarivan won the silver with a point tally of 249.8 and Shreya Aggarwal settled for bronze with a total of 228.4 points.
It was Chinese shooter, Mengyao Shi, who finished on top of the podium with a score of 250.5 points.
Earlier in the day, teenager Hriday Hazarika had clinched gold in Men's 10m Air Rifle Junior event with 250.1 points in his scoreline.
Meanwhile, 2018 Asian Games champion Saurabh Chaudhary won a gold medal in the 10m Air Pistol Junior event in the ongoing championship on Thursday and set a new world record with a total point tally of 245.5.
