Kagiso Rabada, who made a stunning entry to one day international (ODI) cricket by picking up a hat-trick on his debut, said that he had not expected this and added that it was a 'dream start' to his career.
Young speedster Rabada also registered the best debut figures in an ODI by returning figures of 6-16 and guided South Africa to an emphatic eight wicket win over Bangladesh in the first ODI of the three-match series.
Rabada said that it was a dream start to his career and also revealed that Tamim Iqbal's wicket was the priced one out of all six, Sport24 reported.
Revealing about his emotions before the hat-trick ball, he said that he did not know what to bowl, adding that he went in there trying to execute good length, good line and varying it up with some bouncers and yorkers that the team have been working on in practice sessions.
Rabada insisted that he feels no added pressure to his international career post his record-breaking performance, and said that he would continue with the simple approach to his game.
