Jessica Chastain has revealed that she was so nervous about wearing Elizabeth Taylor's sapphire-and-diamond necklace at the Cannes Film Festival's Cleopatra screening, that she didn't even ask its value.
The 36-year-old actress told People magazine that it was very thrilling to wear it, but she was overwhelmed too.
Chastain, who was the first person to wear the neckpiece since Elizabeth, said that she felt as if she was able to spend the day with her today by wearing it.
The 'Help' star first paired the necklace with a simple white Versace Collection dress on the red carpet, but by the time of the rooftop after-party, she had changed into a white Givenchy gown and Taylor's Bulgari emerald brooch and ring.
