A militant was killed in a fierce gun-battle that erupted this evening between the security forces and the militants in Pampore area of Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district.
The militant was believed to be trapped by the forces which had laid a cordon around Ladhoo village. One AK 47 has been recovered from the terrorist.
As per the latest information, the encounter has been terminated .
