Jabs International, a government recognized trading house and largest exporter of spices from India, was awarded "Top Exporter of Maharashtra -MSME category" by Federation of Indian Export Organisation (FIEO)-western region.
Maharashtra's Finance Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar presented the trophy to Bhaskar B. Shah, Managing Director of Jabs International, during a glittering ceremony held at Hotel Taj Mahal, Mumbai, on the eve of July 22.
Jabs International has achieved export of Rs. 800 crore during 2014-15.
Jabs has unique record of receiving top 85 awards during last 19 years. Jabs International was established in 1995 by Bhaskar B. Shah.
The company has been continuously receiving awards from the year 1998.
Jabs International, an ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 22000:2005 certified company, is a government recognized trading house, dealing in spices, oil seeds, raisins, herbs and other agro commodities.

Jabs' annual exports for the year 2014-15 stands at Rs. 800 crore to over 40 countries of the world, out of which 50 percent of its export is to USA.
Jabs International has two state of the art manufacturing units at Navi Mumbai. It has processing units at Mundra and Unjha in Gujarat State and one processing unit at Warangal in Andhra Pradesh. These units have been set up with ultra-modern manufacturing and processing based on foreign technology.
Bhaskar B. Shah is the vice chairman of Spices Board (Ministry of Commerce and Industry -Government of India). He is also the chairman of Indian Spice and Foodstuff Exporters' Association.
