Jackie Chan's son Jaycee Chan has been jailed for six months by Chinese court after he pleaded guilty to providing a venue for drug users.
According to the Dongcheng District People's Court in Beijing, the 32-year-old was also ordered to pay 2,000 yuan, ABC News reported.
'The Twins Effect II' artist, Taiwanese movie star Ko Kai and several others were also detained by police in August in Jaycee's Beijing apartment. The official Xinhua News Agency stated that Jaycee and Kai tested positive for marijuana, and police seized more than 100 grams of marijuana from Jaycee's home.
The trial and sentence have proved particularly sensitive for the 60-year-old actor, who was named an anti-drug ambassador in 2009, and sits on China's top national political advisory panel the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
The State broadcaster China Central Television, who had aired video of the police raid on 'Break up Club' artist's apartment, also mentioned that he has been using drugs for eight years.
