Breaking her silence over 2016 Oscar's host Chris Rock's jokes about her during the award show, Jada Pinkett Smith has said that she didn't take the joke personally.

In her first public comments about Rock since the Oscars, the 44-year-old actress said, "Hey look, it comes with the territory but we gotta keep it moving. We gotta keep it moving. We gotta keep it moving. There's a lot of stuff we gotta handle, a lot of stuff in our world right now. We gotta keep it moving," E! Online reported.

In his opening monologue, Rock addressed the famous couple's calls to boycott the most important ceremony for the movie industry over the lack of diversity in this year's Oscars nods by saying that people like Spike Lee, Jada and Will have gone "mad."

He expressed his surprise over Jada protesting the Academy Awards ceremony by saying, "Jada said she's not coming. I was like, 'Isn't she on a TV show?' Jada's gonna boycott the Oscars? Jada boycotting the Oscars is like me boycotting Rihanna's panties. I wasn't invited."

Rock had also said that Jada's "man Will was not nominated for Concussion. I get it. You get mad. It's not fair that Will was this good and didn't get nominated. You're right. It's also not fair that Will was paid $20 million for Wild Wild West!"

When asked about Rock's remarks, the 47-year-old actor flashed his famous smile and displayed the peace sign.
