Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh on Thursday said taht Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley must explain why the Bharatiya Janata Party had opposed the Goods and Service Tax Bill during the UPA regime.
"Arun Jaitley is a lawyer: he is used to seeing the same problem from different angles. When he was the leader of opposition, he used to say that obstructionism is a parliamentary practice. Today he says the Congress should not do so. He should explain why he opposed the GST Bill when the UPA was in power," Digvijay Singh said.
