Jake Gyllenhaal is all set to bring the real life struggles of Boston Marathon bombing survivor Jeff Bauman in upcoming movie 'Stronger'.
The trailer of the movie was unveiled by the film's official Twitter page.
The trailer opens with Jeff Bauman (Jake Gyllenhaal) waiting for his girlfriend Erin Hurley (Tatiana Maslany), who was competing in the marathon and for whom he was waiting when he was injured in the terrorist attack.
Jeff lands up at hospital and loses his both his legs in the attack.
Though he miraculously survives, the working-class Bostonian is forced to adjust to a new life in the wake of the tragedy.
While going through the pain with the months of physical therapy, he also had to deal with the emotional toll of the bombing.

Jeff's family is also along for his journey, with Miranda Richardson playing his mother Patty Bauman while Clancy Brown plays the survivor's father.
At the end of the trailer, the fans can her Gyllenhaal saying, "There was a time when I just wanted to give up and now I just want to live."
The trailer is emotional and Gyllenhall's portrayal of a man struggling to work and rebuild his body and his life looks amazing.
For the unversed, Boston bombing killed three and injured more than 260 people after two pressure-cooker bombs were detonated.
Helmed by David Gordon Green, 'Stronger' is slated for a September 22 release in the U.S.
