Ebara Refrigeration Equipment and Systems Co. Ltd. (ERS), a subsidiary of Ebara Corporation has ventured into the chillers business in Thailand by establishing a new business enterprise Ebara Thermal Systems (Thailand) Co. Ltd. on April 1, 2013.

Ebara is Japan's first company to manufacture centrifugal chillers.

The company currently offers a wide range of products, including high-efficiency chillers and chillers which make use of refrigerants with zero ozone depleting potential and cooling towers, which are used in over 60 countries.

Ebara offers an all-in-one comprehensive service from manufacturing to sales and maintenance of large-sized chillers and cooling towers.

In Japan, ERS has to its credit an extensive delivery track record to commercial complexes, airports and office buildings. In the foreign markets also, it has been received well in China and Taiwan.

The company has been actively promoting sales activities in the Southeast Asia through exhibits in events like HVAC ASIA held in Singapore in September 2012 and HVACR VIETNAM 2013 held in Ho Chi Minh City in March.

The Ebara group has been active in Thailand since 1964, where it has a considerable delivery track record, particularly in pumps.

With the new company, ERS will be looking into strengthening the foundation for the chillers business in Thailand and the entire Southeast Asia region.
