Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa continues to be under constant monitoring by the intensivists and the consultants in the panel, says Apollo Health Management.
Jayalalithaa is currently being treated for dehydration and fever since September 23.
"The respiratory support is being closely watched and adjusted. Lungs decongestion treatment is being continued," the statement added.
All the other comprehensive measures including nutrition, supportive therapy and passive physiotherapy are underway.
Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi on Thursday visited Apollo Hospital to enquire about the Chief Minister's health.
He was accompanied by Tamil Nadu Congress Committee president S. Thirunavukkarasar .
The day since the Chief Minister has been admitted, special pujas for her speedy recovery are being performed by the AIADMK cadres and supporters in various parts of the state.
