Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) leader and former Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Sunday said if Chief Minister Raghubar Das does not apologies for his false allegations, then he would initiate legal action against him.

Addressing media persons here, Soren said: "The allegation that Chief Minister Raghubar Das has made against me about buying lands worth Rs 500 crore is false."

"He is just trying to ruin my reputation. I have sent him a legal notice and asked him to give me a written apology. He has a time of seven days failing which I might take legal action against him," he said.

"I want to send a message to the Chief Minister that this game will not be acceptable any longer. This will be investigated and the truth will be out," added Soren.

Taking on Das, Soren said: "A case has been registered against the Chief Minister's brother-in-law Khemraj for taking Rs 15 lakh from a person during demonetization. The government has not done any investigation in this regard. Why?"

"This government is just spreading lies against their own people," added Soren.
