Harry Potter helmer JK Rowling has apologised for the moment that made millions of Pottermores really sad - death of Professor Severus Snape.
The 51-year-old-author took to Twitter and expressed regret for killing the potions master on the anniversary of fictional Battle of Hogwarts.
She wrote, "OK, here it is. Please don't start flame wars over it, but this year I'd like to apologise for killing (whispers)... Snape. *runs for cover*"
The character was played in the film franchise by Alan Rickman who passed away in January 2016.
