JK Rowling is planning to build a 'Hagrid Hut' in the grounds of her Scottish estate.
Perth and Kinross Council recently gave a go-ahead to the 49-year-old Harry Potter author's request to create the stone summerhouse, which plans for which look strikingly similar to the hut of Rubeus Hagrid, the Keeper of the Keys and teacher at the fictional Hogwarts School, in Perthshire, the Daily Express reported.
The approval for the structure specified that no trees should be chopped or damaged during the construction.
The award-winning author had purchased the 19th century estate on the banks of the River Tay, which is close to Castle Menzies and even has its own lake, in 2001 for 1.9million pounds.
