Jennifer Lopez has been appointed the chief creative officer of an independent U.S. Latino network.
The 'Dance Again' singer, who became a minority shareholder in the English-language 'NuvoTv' channel last year, has now taken the charge of programming and marketing as the company prepares to be re-launched in July, Contactmusic reported.
She told Billboard.com that: "a network that reflects the modern Latino experience, but in English, must have the quality that everybody has."
Lopez will feature on-camera in two upcoming shows for the channel- a special 90-minute TV biography and a new behind-the-scenes series, called 'Gotta Dance', which would focus on the dancers, who recently accompanied the actress on her world tour.
The 43-year old star admitted that nobody would oppose her if she wants to appear in more programmes.
Lopez added that she always wants to do what is right for the network and would not want to use it as a vehicle for herself.
