Joan Rivers' daughter Melissa Rivers has recently revealed that her mother is still on life support even after five days post suffering from respiratory and cardiac arrest during a medical procedure.
The 46-year-old shared some details with the public about her mother's condition since she was rushed to Manhattan's Mount Sinai Hospital, the CNN reported.
The American actress said in a statement that on behalf of her mother and the family, they are extremely grateful for all the love and support they have received, however at this time she still remains on the life support.
According to the New York Fire Department, the 81-year-ols actress stopped breathing during a minor elective throat surgery at a Manhattan medical clinic. She apparently suffered cardiac and respiratory arrest during a procedure. She was listed in critical condition in New York's Mount Sinai Hospital, where paramedics took her by ambulance.
