Gushing over his newly built relationship with 'Dhishoom' co-star Varun Dhawan, John Abraham revealed about his protective big bro streak that came forth while shooting for the film.
According to the 'Rocky Handsome' actor, he made sure Varun stayed safe during the action sequences, reports DNA.
"Yes, I was there to look out for Varun. He was new to doing action. I thought it was prudent of me to be around to check the harness, etc, to see he was okay. We had to make sure he was well-protected," he said.
Further speaking about it, John said that his feeling for Varun is just like a role reversal of what Akshay Kumar has for him.
"There is a role-reversal here. I was Akshay Kumar's little brother in Garam Masala and I am Varun's big bro in Dishoom. It's lovely. Varun and I share a very real, very honest relationship," he explained.
The Rohit Dhawan movie, which also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Akshaye Khanna, Nargis Fakhri and Saqib Saleem, is set to hit the theatres on July 29.
