John Lennon's son Julian Lennon, and his second wife Yoko Ono, paid a touching tribute to the singer's first wife Cynthia Lennon, following her death.
The 51-year-old musician shared a video captioned "Cynthia Lennon - In Loving Memory" dedicated to The Beatles' star's first wife, who passed away following a short battle with cancer, which showed her pictures taken throughout her life with a slow track in the background, the Mirror reported.
Julian, who was at her bedside throughout, also linked out to a memorial page on Facebook writing "You Are So Beautiful.... x."
Lennon's widow, Yoko One released a statement saying "I'm very saddened by Cynthia's death. She was a great person and a wonderful mother to Julian."
She added that Cynthia had "such a strong zest for life and I felt proud how we two women stood firm in the Beatles family. Please join me in sending love and support to Julian at this very sad time."
Cynthia, 75, who had married the late Beatles legend in 1962 before divorcing in 1968 due to his affair with Yoko Ono, his second wife, took her last breath at her home in Spain.
