Joni Mitchell, who suffered an aneurysm in March, is on the road to a full recovery.
Releasing a statement through the 71-year-old singer's website, Leslie Morris, the singer's friend of more than 44 years, wrote that Mitchell was able to speak but still couldn't walk, reported the Guardian.
She added that the 'Woodstock' hit-maker is undergoing daily therapies which are making her better each day and has been resting comfortably in her own home.
Her full recovery was expected soon, said Morris.
Morris was named the Canadian star's conservator following her aneurysm.
