Jose Mourinho has signed a new four-year contract with Chelsea that will keep him at the Stamford Bridge club until 2019.
The 52-year-old, who had previously coached the Blues from 2004-2007, took the charge of the club again in 2013 and led them to the Premier League title and the Capital One Cup last season.
Reflecting on his new deal, Mourinho said that he was very happy to know he would be staying at the club for a long time, adding that he hopes
they could enjoy more success in the future, the BBC reported.
Chelsea will begin their title defence in their season opener against Swansea on Saturday.
