Judi Dench has revealed that losing her sight has helped her by reducing her nerves when she performs live.
The acclaimed actress said that she was petrified before singing live at the Proms in 2010 but relaxed once she got up on stage and couldn't see the audience, the Mirror reported.
Dench, who suffers from macular degeneration an age-related condition leading to loss of vision, she can't see the audience anymore which in a way is a wonderful blessing.
