Julian Assange has been reportedly asked to model during London Fashion Week in a show by designer Ben Westwood.

The show will take place at the Ecuadorian embassy, where the WikiLeaks founder has been for two years in order to avoid political asylum from a British court order to extradite him to Sweden over sexual assault allegations, CNet reported.

Westwood said that according to him Assange was a popular hero, so he wanted to highlight Assange's plight as it was a citizen's duty to stand up for justice and freedom of speech.

The designer also revealed that he found the inspiration for his upcoming collection from the movie 'The Good, The Bad and The Ugly,' in which Clint Eastwood plays an enigmatic loner.

According to a New York Times fashion blog, Richard Hillgrove, a London publicist working on the September Ben Westwood show, has said that the Assange modeling debut is still under discussion.
