Out-of-favour wicketkeeper-batsman Kamran Akmal has expressed that he wants to regain his place in the Pakistan squad, insisting that he will always have the desire and passion to play for the national side.
Kamran believes that he has been performing well in the domestic cricket even before the 2015 edition of Caribbean Premier League (CPL).
He further said that it was upto the selectors to select the best players for the country.
However, the 33-year-old said that he would continue to perform the best of his abilities despite uncertainty over his selection into the team, PakPassion reported.
Kamran, a veteran of 261 international games, displayed brilliant performance in the CPL as Trinidad & Tobago Red Steel lifted their first title in the history of the competition, however, the player still find himself being sidelined from the national squad.
