Kanye West has finally opened up about why he has chosen not to appear on TV with girlfriend Kim Kardashian's family in their show 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians'.

The rapper claimed that he realised he longer wanted to be on the reality programme when he was slammed for throwing out the soon-to-be mum's clothes on TV to try and get her on all the best dressed lists, the Mirror reported.

During an interview with the New York Times, the singer said that it's hard when people read things in a lot of different ways and the amount of backlash he got from it is when he decided to not be on the show anymore.

West said that it's not that he has an issue with the show, but he has an issue with the amount of backlash that he got.

He asserted that he only wanted to help the person he loves, Kardashian.
