The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday said the press conference conducted by senior congress leader Kapil Sibal is nothing but a bunch of lies.
While speaking to ANI, BJP spokesperson Siddharthnath Singh alleged that the collective opposition, who are standing in unison against the present Modi Government over the demonetisation issue, are supporting black money.
"Kapil Sibal's press conference today is nothing but a bunch of lies," he said.
"Last two days there is a pattern whether it is Mayawati, whether it is Mamata Banerjee, Arvind Kejriwal and the entire leadership of the Congress beginning from Rahul Gandhi, who are defending the black money, they are standing with the black money , they are criticising the government's most bold step and fight against corruption and black money. They are creating confusion in the country by opposing the actions of the government," he added.
The BJP spokesperson also hit back at the grand old party alleging that the UPA1 and the UPA2 looted the hard earned money of the common people and the BJP-led NDA government is trying to bring back all the black money into the system.
"Where were Rahul Gandhi, Kapil Sibal, Sonia Gandhi when 2G scam happened, CWG scam happened and many other scams happened and at that time they were quiet and allowed that loot to happen," he said.

"We are working hard to bring back that loot money back in the country and that is the reason that the banks received almost one lakh crores of deposit in last 24 hours," he added.
Earlier, Sibal questioned government's inner motive behind the demonetisation move. Sibal also held Prime Minister Modi responsible for the inconvenience caused to people due to the new rule.
Long queues were witnessed outside banks on the third consecutive day after Prime Minister Modi announced scrapping of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes. Common man had to go through various hardships in just three days.
Sibal asked, "My question is.account is mine, money is mine then why should I stand in a line?"
He also alleged that the decision was not planned and was made in haste.
