Familes residing in the Kashmir Valley have said that the ongoing unrest has adversely impacted education.
They said that schools and colleges have been instructed to remain shut since July 10.
Parents are blaming the government for not taking timely steps to diffuse the crisis.
The government has announced the schedule of the annual exams, which are just a month away, and students say they haven't even completed 50 percent of their syllabus.
"For last three months, we are sitting at home, our syllabus is incomplete, our future is getting destroyed," said Yasmin Jan, a student.
