Delhi Police School (DPS) student Samarth Chugh, who ran over four people killing a homeless man on footpath near Kashmiri Gate, has been sent to judicial custody till May 4.
An FIR has been registered under Section 279/337/304 the IPC.
The accident took place at around 5.30 a.m. According to eye witnesses, the car was being driven at a very high speed and the teenager lost control and drove on a pavement where several homeless people were sleeping.
Chugh was caught on the spot by a police patrol staff while two other students in the car fled from there.
