Kate Middleton has shown her softer side by accepting gifts from one prison inmate for her kids.

During her visit to HM Prison Send, the 33-year-old inmate Isha, who is due to be released in December next year, presented two aprons to the 33-year-old Duchess of Cambridge for her son Prince George and daughter Princess Charlotte, People magazine reports.

The wife of Prince William accepted the gifts and said that her son would need it for his painting and colouring.

Kate, who visited the prison to examine the work of The Rehabilitation for Addicted Prisoners Trust, was also presented prison-made pastries by prison inmate Isha.
