Kate Upton, who did her first bikini shoot with Sports Illustrated on her 18th birthday, has revealed that she "felt terrible" about herself for a solid month after she landed the career-making cover in 2012.
The 21-year-old told Elle magazine that the 2012 cover led to people treating her like an object, Stuff.co.nz reported.
She said that every single guy she met was either married or about to be married, and she felt like she was their bachelor present or something.
Upton asserted that she is not a toy, but a human, and is not meant to be used.
Commenting on how people view models, the former equestrian champ said that people deal with models like they are kids and they think they can pull one over you.
