Sara Ali Khan, who is basking in the success of her debut film 'Kedarnath', said her parents Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh could not be happier with the response that her performance has received from the audience.
In an exclusive interaction with ANI, the newbie of B-Town, while reacting on the success of her film, said that her parents are proud and overwhelmed by the love she has received post the release of the film.
Talking about her mother Amrita Singh, who is a celebrated actor herself, Sara said, "I was promoting the film in Delhi, but she (Amrita) was constantly messaging me and sending me screenshots of all the reviews that had my name in them. Seeing all the love that I am getting from the audience, she is ecstatically happy."
When asked how Saif is reacting to all the love that is pouring in for her, she said, "I think my father is feeling proud, because a lot of people are messaging him good things about my performance. In spite of all the nepotism debates, if media and audience are finding my performance good, it makes it even more special."
After turning heads with her debut film, the actor is all set to share screen space with Bollywood's powerhouse Ranveer Singh in 'Simmba'.
Earlier this week, the makers of the film unveiled 'Aankh Marey', a peppy dance number from the movie, which has already garnered 33 million views on YouTube.
When asked to comment on the same, Sara said, "Shooting this song with Ranveer was too much fun. I am also enjoying watching the song. I am sure I have contributed about 100 views myself because I am watching the song on repeat."
'Simmba', which is scheduled to release on December 28, is an Action/Adventure movie directed by Rohit Shetty.
