Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday launched a frontal attack on Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi and Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, saying none of the two leaders are fit for the Prime Minister's post.

Kejriwal, who launched his party here today, said the people of the country are upset with both the Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

"People are upset with both the parties. I don't think these two (Rahul Gandhi and Narendra Modi) can provide a good future," he said.

Kejriwal said a stage has now come where the people have lost faith in almost all the political parties and that is why there is coalition.

"I think there is a serious leadership crisis in this country. There is no strong and credible leader on the horizon, which is why the coalitions exist," he said.

Kejriwal said the people of Karnataka will now get an alternative in the form of Aam Aadmi Party.

"First of all, I would like to congratulate the people of Karnataka as the Aam Aadmi Party has been formally launched here. The people of Karnataka have seen both the Congress and BJP, which are corrupt parties and they are sad with both of them," said Kejriwal.

"People here did not use to vote in the party, but vote out it. People had no option. It will be very good for the people that they will now get an alternative in the form of a honest party," he added.

Kejriwal further said the Aam Aadmi Party will first contest the Delhi assembly elections and then field its candidate from all the seats in Karnataka in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
