The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday scoffed at the possibility of an alliance being formed between Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and his Delhi counterpart Arvind Kejriwal, saying that their joint endeavor against Prime Minister Narendra Modi will surely taste defeat.

"Few people think they can do politics by criticizing Modi ji. It has been going on for a long time and every time they have faced defeat. Now an experiment is going on; the chief ministers of Bihar and Delhi will together criticize Modi ji and sing the same tune. But their song will be tuneless. When both the chief ministers will come on the ground level, they will understand the reality," Naqvi told ANI.

With the assembly election in Bihar to be announced in a few weeks, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is all set to share the stage with his Delhi counterpart Arvind Kejriwal.

Nitish Kumar on Wednesday arrived in Delhi to attend the 'Bihar Samman Sammelan' as the chief guest. The event was being organized by the Delhi government in an attempt to help Kumar connect with the Delhi-based voter base, especially those originally from his home state.

Kejriwal and 11 AAP leaders with roots in Bihar have organized the event in New Delhi on Wednesday to felicitate Nitish and pledge their support to him for the elections. The two leaders will also work out a schedule for joint public meetings.
