Asserting that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is not part of the alliance in Bihar, Congress leader Shakeel Ahmed on Thursday said that one must not give unnecessary importance to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's visit to Patna.
"He is not there for the alliance; the first rally of alliance is on 30th. He is a Chief Minister and he might have gone there to attend some government programme for which Bihar Chief Minister might have invited him," Ahmed told ANI.
"Kejriwal ji's performance in Delhi has been very poor. The people of Delhi are very disappointed," he added.
Kejriwal was shown black flags by the protestors, who claimed to be the supporters of veteran social activist Anna Hazare, on his arrival at the Patna airport today.
The protestor alleged that Kejriwal has betrayed Hazare.
Kejriwal will share stage with his Bihar counterpart Nitish Kumar here today and deliver a lecture on 'Governance'.
